When I run out of bag-space in my closet, I make them for my mom. Here's her new traveling bag, with lots of interior pockets, a little clutchy pouch and a matching notebook. I may have to make matching notebooks for all future handbags. A cereal box, a fabric scrap, and some odds and ends of paper. Very satisfying.

Mother Gifties
When I run out of bag-space in my closet, I make them for my mom. Here's her new traveling bag, with lots of interior pockets, a little clutchy pouch and a matching notebook. How did you bind the notebook? Actual awl and waxed twine? Or staples? Or gluestick?
ReplyDeleteOh no. I just sewed it. With my sewing machine. I theoretically have some idea of how to bind books properly but in actuality it's way to much work and precision. I'll make you one.
